Illusion

We find the illusion that works best for us to deal with the harsh reality of human existence.

Then, we share it with each other.

The best illusion becomes a culture’s version of “how things work” and the premise for everything we build upon it, i.e., our construction of reality.

Actually,  however, what we are doing is attempting to cope with death, loss, vulnerability, meaning, etc.
